I found this site called Bloom.com. It’s a “Social Beauty Store” I’m anti-social so we’ll see how long my visit lasts. đ I’ve done a mock order so far and along with Plum District it looks like I’ll be getting a sweet deal and lots of samples. I’ll keep you posted on my shopping spree.

Two weeks ago I got off of my 12 hour graveyard shift and could not sleep. As usual I popped back onto Facebook to see who’s hanging out and what contests are happening. Like I mentioned in my last post, I won a $500 gift card from Victoria’s Secret via Facebook.
Even though after a week of picking stuff out, changing my mind, adding more clothes, taking them off, adding perfumes, and on and on I placed my order. I still didn’t think it was REAL. Then my box arrived. My boyfriend insisted on taking pictures so I can share that I REALLY DID WIN. I didn’t put EVERYTHING in. Who wants to see 7 bottles of body wash/cream/spray and a few unmentionables. đ
I’mhappy to share that I was scared to death that these clothes would sit in the box until I lost more weight. Most of them fit well enough I can walk out the door. The rest are a little snug but will fit before they go out of style. LOL
The cosmetics weren’t part of the original order. With my box of fun I got two more gift cards with $10 on each. That’s where I got the two lip gloss,the two eye liner and the shimmer body powder. I got one more card with $10 on it and ordered two sleep shirts that were on clearance. I got the box of perfumes free with that order. So with the gift card, free shipping and sale discount that cost me $25.
Total prizes = $540 with only $25 out of pocket.

It looks like Albertson’s is stepping it up in the coupon world. I am beyond excited to share with you highlights from their updated coupon policy. Print out a copy for your binder. Keep in mind each store is different and may or may not honor this.
Effective December 17th, 2011.
Coupons that exceed the retail value of an item will have the remaining amount applied to the balance of the transaction. In the event a transaction balance results in a âcreditâ, additional items WILL be added/suggested to the order to utilize the remaining value of the coupon. We will not provide any âcash backâ on coupons; however we will provide full redemption value.
What these means for us:
You can use a coupon with a higher value amount than the item youâre purchasing. So if you have a coupon for $1.00 off and your item only costs $0.75, they will still give you the full $1.00 off. You can use that $0.25 overage to buy another item! This is a great way to get cheap or even free produce and meat! They will not give you money back.  Make sure to purchase enough items to cover your overage.
Albertsons offers of Buy One, Get One Free (BOGO) promotions in their weekly advertisement can be combined with Buy One, Get One Free manufacturer coupons to result in BOTH items being Free. The items in the manufacturer coupon must exactly match our weekly advertisement offers and meet the redemption criteria.
What this means for us:
If an item is on sale Buy One, Get One Free and you have a coupon for that same product that is also Buy One, Get One Free, you can use the coupon to get both items free!

Until last week I was suffering from Coupon Burnout. It was ugly. I felt like I was running in place and not getting anywhere. I was frustrated with not finding the deals other bloggers come across. I was a sore loser when I wasn’t winning contests. I would get downright pouty when I wasn’t able to snap up the *Hot* coupons before they they ran out.
I was jealous of bigger cities that offer more coupons, good coupons, in their Sunday papers. I was jealous of the plethora of stores they have to choose from and jealous that there are more than one. I would be ecstatic to have more than one Target!! For those of you who don’t have this glorious land of Target I apologize. I need to be grateful for the one I have.
Being a big whiner isn’t going to save me anything… I doubt there is a coupon for that!
Instead of ranting about the lack of coupons/deals in my region I am thankful that I get them at all. I”m thankful to have a boyfriend that foots the bill for my NICE printer and huge ink bill. I’m thankful for all the ladies that have beautiful websites that make couponing so much easier and at times fun. In the short time I’ve been couponing I’ve saved quit a bit of money and have a mini stockpile. Above all I am VERY thankful that I woulds till be able to keep food on the table without couponing. My family is blessed with jobs and our pets want for thing. No worries on me stopping soon though. I miss the high of watching my receipt shrink smaller and smaller.
