Yes, there are ways to save on your grocery bill without using coupons. Why am I promoting this? We all need a break from clipping. If you don’t look to other outlets for savings you may end up suffering coupon burnout. Though it’s not the end of the world, your piggy bank may get a little slim and that’s never a good thing. So how do you save without coupons??
- Formulate a Budget. I HATE that word, but it’s a necessary evil.
- Use cash when you shop. You will very likely see significant savings on your grocery bill if you only use cash ~ using cash forces you to stick to your budget. Try it, you’ll be surprised at what you save!
- Price Match
- Eat from your Stockpile. It’s good to work through it so it stays fresh.
- Freeze Meat/produce you find on sale
- Plan Longer Time-spans Between Shopping Trips
- Menu Planning ~ Saves You Money
- Shop the sales fliers
These are all things you can do along with coupons, once you’ve had a break. I just wanted you to know that coupons aren’t the be all, end all. 🙂
How do you save money? Do you have a way of budgeting that works for you? If so, please share. I love hearing how other people save money. I’m always in search of new ideas.
