If you live in a small populated region like I do, you miss out on lots of inserts. This past Sunday I was anticipating 5 inserts, but only got 3. I came online to see if I could print the missing coupons out. They weren’t anywhere to be found. Or when they did post them they were gone in to time. Oh so very frustrating!
When I went to make a call today I noticed I had two texts: One from Target and one from Bath and Body Works. Mobile Coupons! Why didn’t I think of that before? More people have cell phones than printers these days, and most people don’t have the time to clip coupons either. So mobile coupons make it easy to have savings delivered right to you. Here are a few sites you can sign up with to get coupons sent to your phone.
While there are surely more sites that offer mobile coupons, these are the only places I know so far. When I come across more I’ll be sure to post them.

In my last post I focused on getting perks and coupons just by texting companies. Now I’m going to focus on a few companies that take it further.
Here are some previous coupons offered.
To access these coupons you first need to download the Shopkick App on your Cellphone. You can go to this Custom Shopkick Page for Passion For Savings Readers and send the link to your phone. Then when you check in at your first store you will get a code for a Free $25 Restaurant.com Gift Card.
After you download the app to your phone add your favorite stores. Each of these stores has specific offers available and you can also earn “Kicks” or Points for checking in when you visit these stores. The more Kicks you earn the greater your rewards. But the great thing is you don’t have to worry about checking in to access all the coupons, this is just another way to use the program.
Make sure you add Target to your list of Favorite Stores.
Once you have selected all your favorite stores you can go to The Target Screen and you should see the available Coupons (Looks like the image above).
Don’t click on the coupon till you are at the store, you only have 24 hours once you activate the coupons before they disappear so I wait till I’m at the store and I know I’m going to be using a coupon.

CVS has a new Pharmacy App. You can download the CVS App for your iPhone or Smart Phone and of course, it’s FREE! What I love love love is TheCVS Pharmacy App eliminates the need to carry your Extra Care Card with you. You can now scan your CVS Extra Care Card right on your Phone, just Open the App and allow the Cashier to scan your card! This is a super easy way to eliminate an extra card from your wallet. You can also get great features like Coupons when you sign up for Email Updates, Check your Prescriptions and more!
In addition to access to your ExtraCare barcodes, when you use the CVS mobile app you will find the redesigned look and feel. The updated interface includes quick thumb links to popular features such as:
At first using mobile coupons made me nervous. Not recognizing the purpose behind them or when to use then baffled me.
Since I’ve been posting about them recently and they seen to be popping up everywhere decided to try to simply it. 🙂
Signing Up for Mobile Coupons by Text:
Before I start I want to mention that I only recommend this if you have an unlimited texting plan. I don’t get charged per text so it’s a convenient way for me to have coupons with me all the time. If you do not have unlimited texting options this might end up costing you more than you save! Below is a list of companies that ask that you text to get their offers.
